Coach Michniacki is entering his eighth season of coaching at Western and eleventh season as a member of the Warriors football family. A 2001 graduate of Walled Lake Western, Nick was a member of the 1999 State Championship team. For the last eight years Coach "Michin", as the students call him, has been the program Specialist Coach working with the kickers, punters, snappers, holders and returns. Also in that time he was an assistant coach on the JV team, and became JV Defensive Coordinator in 2004. In 2005 he moved up to the Varsity and worked with the  defensive backs. Now with Coach Uyttendaele, Coach Michniacki  works with the Varsity Special Teams.

Nick is currently working at McNish's Sport and Trophy in Novi. In 2002 he worked in the Arena Football League for the Detroit Fury as the teams equipment manager. "Michin" also coached baseball at WLW for three seasons at the JV level (2002-2004). Also in his spare time Coach Michniacki is the webmaster for WLWFootball.com. Nick is single and resides in Wixom.
