Turnovers continue to plague the Warriors this season, and unlike last week the team was unable to over come them. Early on things looked good for Western as they would score on their first possession of the game but that would be the last time the Warriors would have the lead. The rest of the first half Franklin would capitalize on Western miscues scoring 21 points off of turnovers. In the second half the Warrior offense found its rhythm but the Patriots had would answer back every time Western got back within striking distance. With the loss, Walled Lake Western moves to 1-1 on the season. The Warriors host Waterford Mott to encounter the Corsairs in their first Kensington Lakes - North match-up on Friday, September 12. The Corsairs go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Mott won 22-14 in their recent outing against Wayne Memorial.
