| Bio | Coach Michniacki is entering his 21st football coaching football all at W.L. Western (2001-18 and 2020-present). Currently he serves as the Varsity Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Backs coach. Coach “Michin” began his coaching career here at Western in 2001 working with the Kickers/Punters. Since that time Western has produced 3 All-State Dream Team Kickers, 4 First Team All-State Kickers, and has sent a total of 9 Kickers to play college football including 4 D1 players. During that same time, he coached multiple defensive positions on all three levels program including a two-year stint as JV defensive coordinator. From 2013-2020 he was the Head Varsity Softball coach here at Walled Lake Western and previously coached Freshmen baseball at WLW from 2002-2005. A Western Alum, class of 2001, he was a member of the 1999 State Championship team. Nick works as a Senior Account Manager for E.A. Graphics selling custom team and corporate apparel. Nick lives in Wixom with his wife, Jessica with their daughter, Charlotte and son, Jackson. |
