Warrior Fundraisers

Warrior Football is completely self-funded (via the Walled Lake Western Football Booster Club [WLWFBC]) through various fundraising events and programs. All athletes attending Walled Lake Consolidated School District must pay to participate but none of this money is distributed to any specific sport. All sports teams and non-sports activities at Walled Lake Western High School must earn monies to support their individual program. The WLWFBC needs your support of the following to maintain and build the Warrior Football Program and support our sons:

Merchandise: Spirit Wear is clothing that families and fans are proud to wear in support of Warrior Football.  Again this year we are excited to offer a wider range of Warrior Spirit Wear by partnering with an experienced vendor to provide online ordering. You can access the site by clicking on the Spiritwear link.  This Spirit Wear will be available to order at any time and will be shipped directly to your home.

We will also continue to offer a limited selection of Spirit Wear at Varsity home games and special events (Mandatory Parent meeting, Picnic, etc.)

For more information you can also contact the Merchandise Coordinators - Rose-Ann Adams or Renee Garmo.

STADIUM BANNER SALES: Business advertising banners are sold to be displayed at home Varsity games. If you know of a business that may be interested in purchasing one of these banners, please contact the Advertising chair Dawn Rinz or Carmen Campbell.

GAME PROGRAM: The WLWFBC produces a game program with photos of all the football teams, cheer and pom squads, and marching band to sell at games. Business and Personal ads, wishing your sons luck in the season, are sold to help cover the cost of the program. These are due by August 1, 2017. Parents are encouraged to find businesses who would like to purchase an ad and notify the program ad chair Charissa Elebra. The programs are for sale at all games until they are gone.

HOME GAME CONCESSIONS: Football families and student volunteers work at the concession stand for all home games and playoffs for all 3 team (Varsity, JV and Frs). Junior Varsity and Freshmen families are responsible for manning the concession stand at the Varsity games. This allows Varsity families the opportunity to watch their sons play. If the Warriors hosts a post-season playoff game, football is asked to cover the concessions and again provide Freshmen and JV parent volunteers. For more information contact the Concession Chair  - Michael Abele or Booster President Dawn Rinz.

50/50 RAFFLE: Tickets are sold at all Varsity home games, except playoffs. Volunteers are needed to sell tickets from 30 minutes before the game begins until half time. Half of the money collected goes to the football program and the balance goes to a lucky winner. Preferably, Junior Varsity and Freshmen families are responsible for selling the 50/50 tickets. This allows Varsity families the opportunity to watch their sons play. For more information contact the 50/50 Chair - Lori Stephens or Traci Lampela

Yearly Banner:

You can view previous years banners displayed in the auxiliary gym @ the school. There is a limited quantity of 72 footballs available on the main banner. Additional side banners will be made if necessary. Price is the same as it has been for the last 8 years .... $20 per football. This is available for ALL players: Varsity, Junior Varsity & Freshman.
