Coach Brenner enters his 18th season teaching and 16th year of coaching football at Walled Lake Western. In that time he has also coached the freshman softball team and ski team at Western. Previous to that, Bill coached football at both West Bloomfield and Birmingham Seaholm High Schools. Bill attended Orchard Lake St. Mary's where he played football, hockey, and was a member of the crew team. While attending Syracuse University, Bill continued to participate with rowing as a member of the Orange crew team. After transferring to Wayne State he played football for two seasons for the Tartars. Bill now lives in Wixom with his wife, Tracy, and their children Danial, Dillon, and Sofia.
