Walled Lake Western Football has teamed up with Ford's Warriors in Pink to raise money and promote breast cancer awareness in the community by hosting a two-day event on
Friday, October 14
and Saturday, October 15
Friday - WLW Warriors Football Game
WLWestern's stadium will be transformed into a virtual sea of PINK.
Saturday - 5K Race for the Cure
The Warriors for Warriors will be the largest event ever undertaken by Walled Lake Western High School in its history. We will be raising awareness throughout our community as well as increasing the level of involvement of our school in the community. Get your sponsored player jersey with your honoree name printed on the back. There will be special seating for the sponsor and one guest in our Warriors for Warriors Zone. Join us for a special introduction with our players. Plus be a guest of your sponsored player at mid-field after the game, where you will be presented with your special jersey and a commemorative photo will be taken.

Highlights:
· Fastest Hole: Video footage notwithstanding, the ruling by the timer, Ken Lelek, still stands……especially since Dick McEndarffer had a wraith drop his ball 1 foot from the hole. Many violations in all videos……running on green, driving cart on green…..hmmm, leaving before the last tee-shot, throwing, etc. Fortunately, no penalties were established for violations J
· Some crazy guy (that I work with), name rhymes with Creznick, wore (and stretched out) his wife’s pink underwear ……go figure.
· Newcomers…..the Bernhard’s posted an impressive 55 for second place. This is exceptional considering they have not had the same years of experience in gaming the system.
· The Dreyer / Roesler video was a clear winner…..but “R” rated. Contact us for a private showing. “Pirate Juice” fueled their carts.
· Found the Pritchard’s Pink Tape in the bottom of the bag. Whoops.
· Most all skins money donated back to the cause…..(college kids cannot be blamed….they have no money)
